Founded in 1974 by the late Dr. Bryan C. "BC" West, Autos & Autos’ proprietors are his wife Peggy West and daughter Laura West Boron. BC was a proponent of the preservation of manuscripts. In 1985, he received the coveted Conservation Service Award by the US Department of the Interior for the preservation of numerous notes made by Thomas A. Edison.
