Major Club Projects:
| Support of Churches/Kathy Harvill, Chair: The Kiwanis Club of Thomasville supports the churches in our community. Most of us are members and several are local pastors. |
| Salvation Army/Howard Floyd, Chair: The Kiwanis Club of Thomasville rings the bell at Wal Mart during the Christmas season for this most important fund-raising effort of the Salvation Army. |
| Nursing Homes/Paula Allen, Chair |
| Vashti/Lester Prickett, Chair: The Kiwanis Club of Thomasville supports Vashti by collecting Campbells soup labels used to "purchase" vans. The club also meets at Vashti once each year and makes a contribution. |
| Builders Clubs/Gary Douglass, MacIntyre Park Chair; Earl Williams, Thomas County Middle School Chair: The Kiwanis Club of Thomasville sponsors these clubs with school teacher advisors and assistance from club members. |
| College Scholarship Program/ Todd Bennett, Chair: The Kiwanis Club of Thomasville awards Thomasville high school seniors with college scholarships. The awards total between $5,000 to $6,000 annually. |
| STAR Program/Jess Booth, Chair: The Kiwanis Club of Thomasville sponsors the STAR program recognizing outstanding students from the three high schools in Thomas County. |
| GOAL Program/ Kathy Harvill, Chair: The Kiwanis Club of Thomasville sponsors the state GOAL program recognizing outstanding students at Thomas Technical Institute. One student is selected to represent Thomas Tech and Thomasville at the state level. |

| Special Olympics/Vic Lee, Chair: The Kiwanis Club of Thomasville assists with the Special Olympics by providing volunteers to help the children participating in the games. |
| Terrific Kids/ Jesse Booth, Chair; Jesse Booth, Scott Chair; Thomas Washington, Harper Chair; Tim Chastain, Garrison-Pilcher; Charles Evans, Cross Creek; Jim Hardy, Jerger Chair; Karen McRee, Douglas Chair: The Kiwanis Club of Thomasville, together with McDonalds, rewards children in various Thomasville schools for outstanding performance at monthly school assemblies. |
| Christmas Angel Tree/Len Robinson, Chair: The Kiwanis Club of Thomasville receives about one hundred fifty names from DFACS of children who would not otherwise receive gifts for Christmas. Members of the club buy gifts for the children. The gifts are transported to DFACS where they are distributed to the children. |
| Rose City Walk/ Bill Raney, Chair: The Kiwanis Club of Thomasville has several members who participate in the walk. The club has received the Rose City Walk Participation Award on numerous occasions. |
| RIF (Reading is Fundamental)/Gene Richardson, Chair: The Kiwanis Club of Thomasville purchase books that are read to children. After one of our members reads to the children, they are given the books. |
| IDD: Roy Long, Chair: The Kiwanis Club of Thomasville's (with Kiwanis International) long range project is to eliminate world-wide iodine deficiency. |
| Farmers' Appreciation/Larry Miller, Chair: For the 44th consecutive year, the Thomasville Kiwanis Club has recognized and honored outstanding farmers of Thomas County. |
