of your situation.

Determining Your Eligibility for
Vocational Rehabilitation:
1-You Must Have a Physical,
mental or emotional disability,
which for you constitutes or
results in a substantial
impediment to employment and

2-You can benefit in terms of an
employment outcome from
vocational rehabilitation services

3-You are an enrolled  member of a
State or Federally-recognized
tribe or Alaska Native
corporation and you live on or

Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor

Your Muskogee Vocational
Rehabilitation Couselor is a person skilled
 in the area of understanding disabilities and
how those disabilities relate to employment.
It is your MVR counselor's job to help you
understand your strengths, weaknesses, the
cause of your problems as they relate to work and the steps
 needed to overcome your
vocational disability.  You and your MVR
counselor will work together in fitting your abilities, interest, job requirenments and job opportunities
in your community into an organized plan of action.

The relationship between you and
your MVR counselor is an important one.
Ask questions if you do not understand
something. Your MVR Counselor is
concerned with helping you establish a
rehabilitation plan designed to meet your
individual needs. Your input is very
important.
