Words and Feelings from Shelter Advocates

“ It’s a great feeling when a woman wakes up and says. That was the

best sleep I’ve had in week’s. ”

“ I know my job is not in vain, when a client enters the shelter with their guard up and leaves with a smile.”

“ I like working at the shelter because I get to meet people of different color, ages, race and religion.”
