     We are a "small" Southern Baptist Church located in rural Thomas County, Georgia , just a few miles outside Thomasville. We are affiliated with the Thomas County Baptist Association and the support programs thereof.

     Constituted in 1856, we are the oldest church in the county, as we know of. Presently we have an average worship attendance of 75 for Sunday School and 110 for Sunday morning worship.

     We the members of Barnett's Creek Baptist Church believe that a church is not a building but its people. Our church's true foundation is not of concrete or stone but of Jesus Christ. We believe that BCBC is a place to experience God's love and acceptance, and to be challenged to grow and learn as christians.
