Hi! You're on Ian Fritzsche (KF4AON)'s home page! I'm 21 years old and I live in Thomasville, Georgia. Thanks for dropping by! In case your wondering what the "KF4AON" is by my name, it's my amateur radio callsign. Using this callsign, I talk to my friends in and around Thomasville (such as KG4PUY, KG4PUZ, and KG4GAV) on my "Yeasu VX-5r". It's a little radio about the size of my old advisor pager (I had a big pager) I wear on my belt caplable of transmitting on the 2-meter, 440MHz, and 6-meter ham radio bands. You can see a picture here. I also use borrowed radios from people like Charlie Mac, K4YC to talk to people all over the country and even to other countries! Currently, I'm working on getting a small-coverage repeater on the air. If you're interested in getting your amateur radio license, let me know, it's easy! You don't even have to take a morse code test anymore! It only costs $10.00 to take the test, and your age doesn't matter! Check out this Amateur Radio Relay League (ARRL) page for lots for info.

Other then Ham Radio, my hobbies/interests include working on computers, inside and out, building computers, installing computers, fixing computers, helping friends with their computers, etc, etc, etc...I also do a good bit of work with electronics and am often found tring to fix a friend's VCR, radio, guitar amp, or some other electrical device. I am very active in my church's youth group (for links to some youth group people try my links page), and mix sound at our church on a weekly basis...I have been mixing sound for about 3 years and love it...as far as instruments, I play the piano, but I'm also learning the guitar (I'm mostly teaching myself...and BTW I think I like guitar a lot better then piano)...now on to the rest of my page!
